Supermodel Cindy Crawford gets cold feet, changes her mind about retirement

In an interview with  Rhapsody magazine, iconic model and actress Cindy Crawford announced that she would be retiring from modelling this year when she turns 50 on February 20.

“I’m sure I’ll have my picture taken for 10 more years, but not as a model anymore,” she told Rhapsody. The news stunned many people in the fashion world, with many of her fans asking her not to retire yet.

Now the mother of two seems to have gotten cold feet. Hours ago, she took to Instagram to clarify what she meant in the publication; she is not ending her 34-year modelling career yet because she always gets exciting opportunities that make her think again.

“Every year, I tell my kids I’m retiring. It’s a running joke in our family,” the American model captioned a photo of herself striking a pose. See her words in full:

Crawford, who starred Taylor Swift’s 2015 music video ‘Bad Blood’, started modelling at the age of 17.
