national football squad and FC Barcelona (Barça) midfielder Andrés Iniesta was
recognized the 2015 Athlete of the Year of Spain, the Barça website reported.
In
the previous season, the 31-year-old player won all possible titles with his
club.
Overall,
Iniesta has won 26 titles at the Catalan club.
