Akwa Ibom state governor appoints Ini Edo as Special Adviser on Tourism

Screen goddess, Ini Edo, has landed a political appointment with the Akwa Ibom state government.

According to reports, the 33-year-old actress has been assigned the position of Special Adviser on Tourism, Culture and Development by Akwa Ibom state governor Emmanuel Udoh. She reportedly received her appointment letter but is yet to make the news public.

Ini Edo, who had a messy divorce from her ex-husband Philip Ehiagwina in 2014, had cheating rumours surrounding her marriage and there were claims that she had been involved with a governor during that period.  Outside of being one of Nollywood’s big names, Ini Edo also owns a sophisticated night club ‘Mimi’s Lounge’ located in Lekki.
