A 65-year-old Mbare man is at loggerheads with his married daughter,
who is accusing him of using mobobobo on her.
Peter Kwenda said he is not happy with the way his own daughter,
Winfred Kwenda (36) is treating him and accusing him of casting evil spirits on
her.
“It is really disheartening that my own daughter accuses me of having
s*x with her using evil means of which all those allegations are false. My
hands are clean. I have never used mubobobo on her and she once called me to go
to Bulawayo where she resides so that we visit a
traditional healer about the issue.
I went there only for her and her husband to beat me up,” he said while
sobbing.
Winfred sent the following SMS to her father:
“Saka kuCeregem ndokwandichanobatsirwa kuti urege kundibobodza? Benzi
rababa rinochiva vanakadzi saka ndokuva responsible kwacho ikoko nxa you
thought I don’t know its you uzvimire izvozvo,” reads part of a scathing
message that the 36-year-old Bulawayo-based woman sent to her own father.
When reached for comment, Winfred said her father was busy using
mubobobo on her.
“That story about mubobobo is a family issue but since you insist I
will tell you the whole story. It’s not a secret that my father uses mubobobo
on me. He admitted it, and he is even angry with me for getting married,” she
said.
Winfred added that she is happily married and has five kids but during
the night she has s*x with a man she can’t see
“Kana ndakarara ndoona ndichirarwa nemunhu wandisingaone and it hurts
me since my father admits he is the one who causes that.
She did not have kind words for her father and even accused him of
casting evil spirits on her husband.
“My dad is capable of doing anything. When I got married in 2002 he
refused to accept my bride price, only for my husband to go mad and he was
discharged from his job as a soldier. My father claims that he is the one who
caused that,” she said.
